Our Dresscode

Clothing Makes a Difference!Clothing Makes a Difference!

Shoreline Christian School has developed a “Standardized Dress Code” for it’s Kindergarten and Elementary grades. It has been carefully designed from parent input to elevate the atmosphere in the school, avoid the pitfalls of “clothing competition”, provide enough variety to allow the students selections they can feel good about wearing and significantly reduce the expense of school clothes for the family!

We have specified colors from pants, shorts, skorts, skirts and jumpers. For the shirts and blouses, we have specified a few styles that can be purchased in any solid color from any source.

Our uniform suppliers are Parker and French Toast; however we recognize that there are more suppliers available and acceptable (Walmart, Old Navy, Target, etc.).

Boys

Boys must wear Khaki or Navy Pants or shorts with any solid color oxford, polo-style or turtle-neck shirt (any brand). Belts must be worn at all times. Athletic shoes should be worn so students can run in PE.

Girls

Girls must wear Khaki, Navy or Red-Blue Plaid pants, shorts, skorts, skirts and jumpers. Belts must be worn when applicable. Shirts, blouses must be solid button-down or polo-style of any color, any brand (some specific styles may apply). No sandals allowed at school. Girls should wear athletic shoes so they can run in PE.

Preschool

Pre-school dress code: Students may wear their own clothing for Preschool. However, we ask that pants have elastic waistbands for quick and easy access during bathroom breaks. No cartoon characters or super-hero type characters are allowed on clothing, backpacks and lunchbags.

Of course, detailed information about our dress code is available at the school and in our Family Handbook.
